The Texas A&M University Libraries are now publishing the Journal of Digital Information, also known as JoDI. The new homepage is http://jodi.tamu.edu. JoDI was begun in 1997 as a scholarly, peer-reviewd, online-only, open-access journal. JoDI publishes artilces:
- about the management, presentation and uses of information in digital environments
- covering research, technical, design and practical issues
- aimed at researchers, developers and teachers, mainly but not only in technical disciplines, also technical librarians and publishers.
JoDI is currently being hosted by the Digital Initiatives, Research and Technology unit of the Texas A&M University Libraries. It was originally supported by the British Computer Society and hosted by the University of Southampton. The most recent issue is volume 6 issue 1. Vol. 6 issue 2 is forthcoming. In fact, we are currently accepting papers.
